Biggs was picked up with his mum and siblings back in September 2022 from the elderly home in Solca. After their mum was spayed and returned to the home, the pups went to the shelter and have been there ever since.

Biggs is such a lovely, well-rounded boy. He is extremely affectionate and gets along with every person, dog and cat he meets! He is a confident boy without being overbearing and is very gentle when taking treats. Biggs loves a face scratch and will seek out affection. He walks beautifully on the lead despite his lack of exposure! 

He gets along well with his pen mates and has even helped bring some of his shyer pen mates out of their shell with his confident nature. His confident, calm nature means he will thrive whether he has a canine companion or not. Biggs has also shown his playful side with other dogs and enjoys a game of tug. 

He loves to learn and we think he would really benefit from a family who are interested in attending training classes and teaching him little tricks at home. He would be suited to most homes but he would definitelt enjoy living with a family who go for longer weekend walks as he does enjoy a zoom when given the chance!

One of the things our team did while out in Romania was create little human identities for all our rescues and this is a snippet of what we thought suited Biggs!

“Meet Biggs! Biggs is a foreman on a construction site, a man of responsibility, he’s more intelligent than his mates and the other lads on site. Don’t get us wrong, he is one of the boys, but he’s the one who keeps them grounded and on task. 

He is saving for his pension while the lads are out every weekend. He’s very sensible you see!

He’s the kind of guy who dates but doesn’t want to be in a long term relationship but never ghosts a lady and will always be friends after their short relationships have ended. He has the hard conversation but approaches them sensitively.”

We are looking for a home for Biggs that will build on his already incredible temperament and character. Where adventures and trips out and about are high on the agenda. A firm favourite among the volunteers, this little big man is going to make his adopters the luckiest people in the world.
